Teradici Cloud Access Software Now Validated as Nutanix Ready

Written by HP Teradici | May 19, 2021

Teradici recently completed a survey of customers and other IT professionals about their use of public, private and on-premises data centers, looking to gauge current situations and opinions around deployment of hybrid and multicloud solutions in their organizations.

What we found will probably not surprise anyone - while most IT professionals admit that deployment to more than one cloud or data center is an important strategy to support ongoing resource requirements and business continuity needs, the complexity of implementation can slow hybrid and multicloud adoption.

For many organizations in this position, hyperconverged infrastructure can be a solution. Hyperconverged platforms, which typically include a hypervisor, software defined storage, and a virtualized environment on standard servers, are appealing for the simplicity and flexibility they offer.

But one size doesn’t always fit all, and we know that some of these teams also need the performance, quality and security that Teradici PCoIP technology delivers, particularly for teams working with demanding content like video editing and animation or those in government organizations.

That’s why we’re pleased to announce that Teradici Cloud Access Software is now validated as Nutanix Ready AHV, offering a simple, cost-effective virtualization solution for customers who would like to leverage hyperconverged infrastructure to deploy workstations and virtual desktops in an on-premises or hybrid cloud environment.

“As more organizations move to cloud based infrastructure, we’ve seen customers look for ways to simplify their migration to the cloud. Using hyperconverged infrastructure is a robust, easy-to-manage solution for many organizations, and now Teradici Cloud Access Software includes high-performance virtualization support with Nutanix AHV while meeting the needs of those who are using it in combination with public or private clouds.”

- Ziad Lammam, Vice President of Product Management for Teradici

Teradici Cloud Access Software, with integrated PCoIP® technology, enables organizations to securely deliver Windows or Linux workspaces and applications from a public or private cloud, on-premises data center, or any combination of the three with full multicloud and hybrid-cloud support on AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, ESXi, KVM and now Nutanix AHV. Teradici PCoIP solutions are used across financial services, government, healthcare, education, media and entertainment, and manufacturing industries to securely visualize applications in a wide variety of use cases.

“Teradici’s technology has a loyal customer base and is highly valued for its performance and flexibility, particularly by enterprises working in hybrid or multicloud environments or with high-performance requirements. We’re pleased to see Teradici certify Cloud Access Software as Nutanix Ready and join the Elevate Partner Program, because we know that Cloud Access Software offers a great virtualization option for Nutanix AHV customers.”
