In this blog post, we highlight the new features of the HP Anyware 23.08 release and look forward to what’s coming in the next few releases.
The HP Anyware team has made usability a key tenet of updates in 2023. The more user-friendly our solution is, the more productive users can be, no matter where and how they’re working.
We've simplified the process for HP Anyware users logging into macOS hosts. Users can now more easily access their macOS host and seamlessly navigate pre-login dialog boxes and prompts.
Built on pioneering PCoIP® technology, HP Anyware delivers high performance for graphics-intensive workflows, which has made the software the go-to solution in the AEC, manufacturing, and M&E industries. The HP Anyware team continues to absorb feedback from the industry and users to design the features our customers need.
With the HP Anyware 23.08 release, we are delivering increased high frame rate support for graphics-intensive use cases, as well as support for a wider range of Windows-based client devices (Linux® devices are already supported). Mirela Cunjalo, Product Management, HP Anyware, explained the benefits of this update, saying, “We've increased the sustained premium performance of HP Anyware, which requires less CPU. As a result, HP Anyware is now supporting an even wider range of clients.”
Anyware’s new and previous performance enhancements can sustain up to 4K at 60 frames per second with a Windows®, Linux or Mac® client connecting to a Mac, Windows or Linux® host. Even with lightweight client devices, users can achieve increased sustained frame rates at lower client CPU utilization.
