HPE LoadRunner is a software testing tool provided from Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, used to test applications and to measure system behavior and performance under load. Using LoadRunner, you can get an accurate picture of end-to-end system performance to identify and resolve issues before applications go live. LoadRunner software provides system performance information for more than 50 application technologies and protocols, and now, thanks to the partnership between Teradici and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, you can now ensure your company’s remote desktop environments are ready for production workloads.
Using LoadRunner’s easy-to-use scripting and debugging engine, you can author scripts for PCoIP environments and then run load test scenarios to emulate virtual desktop users accessing the system simultaneously. LoadRunner’s Analysis component will help you isolate the root cause of any performance issues. You can run load tests for a variety of PCoIP deployments including cloud or in-house, bare metal or virtual machine, or hybrid environments.
Delays or performance issues during deployment are among the top reasons that virtualization projects fail. Through the use of LoadRunner, you can ensure a successful transition to desktop virtualization. For existing PCoIP environments, the use of LoadRunner can help assess and verify the impact of changes to their servers and applications, allowing them to identify, diagnose and resolve any problems in their end-to-end environment.
To learn more about this exciting partnership, check out the HPE blog for the discussion between Teradici’s Mirela Cunjalo and HPE’s Vicky Villalobos on the benefits of the PCoIP protocol integration, how to set up PCoIP scripts and more.
PCoIP protocol support is available in both HPE LoadRunner and Performance Center 12.53 as well as the free LoadRunner Community Edition (maximum 50 virtual user licenses).
