Inside Teradici is a series that provides insights and musings from the company’s leadership team. In this installment, we chat with Teradici board member, Tarkan Maner, Chairman & CEO of Nexenta Systems.
I was the CEO of Wyse Technology from 2005 until 2012, when we were acquired by Dell. In 2006, Teradici and Wyse became technology partners and established joint GTM programs to disrupt the desktop computing market.
The people, without a doubt. Whether it’s my colleagues, partners or customers, I enjoy building personal relationships. These relationships have impacted my business decisions greatly and continue to expand my global network of connected individuals.
Social, Mobile, Virtual, Internet of Things, Big Data, Cloud… and how all those trends lead into how Software-Defined Data Centers meet All-Flash Arrays, meet Containers! I see how these trends impact all of our daily lives and the evolution of data centers worldwide. It’s these principles that have enabled large data centers to provide the increased capacity of storage, cost performance and scalability needed today.

At Nexenta, just as it is at Teradici, people thought OpenSDS (Where Open Source meets Software-Defined Storage) disrupting a $200B data center market was impossible! And Team Nexenta made it a reality, working with partners like Teradici!
My dream for Teradici is to disrupt the entire end user computing market with a super secure Cloud Platform leading Teradici to a successful IPO.
