Giving IT deployment flexibility and security while creating a high-performance seamless experience for users to interact with their digital workspaces is our mission for HP Anyware. Part of HP Anyware’s flexibility comes from building close connections with the ecosystem—our strategic partners combine their strengths with built-in PC-over-IP (PCoIP®) technology to give you the work-from-anywhere experience you need.
VMware has been a long-standing partner integrating PCoIP in Horizon since 2008. We’ve been working together on some new capabilities to enable Virtual desktop and Zero Client users to add VMware Horizon connectivity with HP Anyware. Sign up to find out more.
Continuing our collaboration with VMware can bring additional options and flexibility to the VMware ecosystem, including access to the latest PCoIP Ultra® features, the ability to remote your preferred operating systems (Windows®, macOS® and Linux®), user collaboration, peripheral compatibility, such as Wacom tablets, and flexibility around cloud, workstations, hybrid, and virtual deployments.
When the new feature is available, an existing or new VMware Horizon user will be able to broker connectivity to HP Anyware within their Horizon environment, which will enable both Zero Client and Desktop Access users, as well as Horizon Client users, to leverage HP Anyware.
It all comes down to giving you the flexibility to use the technology that best fits your needs.

Endpoints are another area of collaboration for HP and VMware. Next-generation Zero Clients based on PCoIP and our new Trusted Zero Client technology will be available from partners starting later this year and we’re working together to add support for VMware Horizon with its Blast protocol, providing the hardened security value that existing Tera2 customers enjoy in the latest zero trust architecture.
OEMs will leverage our new Trusted Zero Client firmware to deliver ultra-secure Zero Client endpoints with the very best in remoting performance. These Trusted Zero Clients will be designed with Zero Trust Architecture security and PCoIP Ultra performance features. Once provisioned, the Zero Clients are continuously monitored for anomalies, such as connected peripherals, old firmware versions, security breaches, to validate access, provide system integrity controls and implement other Zero Trust principles as recommended by organizations like NIST.
We’re working closely with our partners and customers to provide a rich experience for virtual desktop, cloud desktop, remote workstation and secure endpoint users. Check out the HP Anyware blog for the latest product updates and sign up to learn more.
