Contest Rules

During the Sweepstakes Period, persons who are eighteen (18) years of age or older may enter by completing the Multicloud Survey and entry form on Teradici’s survey site during the Sweepstakes Period and following the directions provided to fill out and submit the entry information.
Any form of entry other than those described herein is void. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect, illegible, inaccurate or incomplete entry of information or for entry requests which are late, delayed, misdirected, electronically corrupted, damaged, incompletely received, otherwise defective or lost due to any reason, all of which will be discarded and declared void.
Limit one (1) entry per person, per email address, and per household for the duration of the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of method of entry. Entries received from any person, e-mail address, or household in excess of the stated limitation will be void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
By participating, entrant represents and warrants to Sponsor that entrant meets all of the eligibility requirements of this Sweepstakes, entrant has read and understood all of the rules of this Sweepstakes and entrant’s participation in this Sweepstakes complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
On April 30, 2019, the Sponsor will select five (5) potential winners in a random drawing conducted in accordance with these Official Rules from among all eligible entries received. Sponsor’s decisions shall be final in all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes.
The potential winners will be notified within five (5) days following the drawing by email, provided at the time of entering. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries. The Sponsor has no obligation to select an alternate potential winner.
To be eligible to be declared the winner and to receive the prize, the potential winner must sign and return to Sponsor, within five (5) days of issuance of such documentation from Sponsor, an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release that: (a) releases Sponsor from any and all liability, loss, claims, demands, and causes of action for personal injuries or death and/or damage to personal or real property, theft, loss, or any other harm suffered directly or indirectly from potential winner's participation in Sweepstakes, including, but not limited to, traveling to, preparing for and/or participating in any prize related activity, or the acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of any prize; and (b) except where prohibited by law, grants Sponsor the right to use potential winner's name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and city and state address for advertising and promotional purposes for this and similar promotions, worldwide, and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised without additional compensation, review or approval rights, notification or permission, except where prohibited by law. The potential winner must also complete any additional legal documents provided by Sponsor with respect to the prize and return them as instructed within the time frame specified. If the potential winner is at least eighteen (18) but still considered a minor, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian, who will be required to sign the release and any additional legal documents as requested on the potential winner’s behalf and fulfill any other requirements imposed on winner as set forth herein. When such documentation is properly executed and received by Sponsor, and provided potential winner is otherwise in compliance with the Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, potential winner will be determined to be the Sweepstakes winner.
If a potential winner (or any parent or legal guardian acting on behalf of potential winner) fails to comply with the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, including, but not limited to, failing to execute the required documentation within the time frame specified or the prize or prize documents are returned as undeliverable, the potential winner may be disqualified, at Sponsor's sole discretion, and the prize forfeited. If the potential winner is disqualified, Sponsor reserves, in its sole discretion, the right to select an alternate potential winner at random from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries. The Sponsor has no obligation select an alternate potential winner.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, winner acknowledges that Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide insurance of any kind relating to the prize and that winner (or any parent or legal guardian acting on behalf of winner) will be responsible for obtaining and paying for any form of insurance relating to the prize that winner deems appropriate.
The dates for fulfillment of the prize will be on or about 30th, 2019, but subject to change in Sponsor's sole discretion. If for any reason any prize is unavailable, or for any other reason, Sponsor reserves the right to modify the Sweepstakes in its sole discretion and award a substitute prize, or portion of prize, of comparable or greater value as set forth in these Official Rules. No substitution, transfer, assignment or cash equivalent of the prize, or any portion thereof, is permitted by a winner. Sponsor shall have no responsibility or obligation to a winner who is unable or unavailable to, or who does not for any reason, accept or utilize the prize. All costs and expenses not specifically listed above as part of the prize are solely winner's responsibility. Prize is provided “as is”. Entrants acknowledge that Sponsor has neither made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize and any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Prizes pictured in online television, print advertising, and other Sweepstakes materials are for illustrative purposes only. Arrangements for the fulfillment of the prize, will be made by Sponsor.
Prize winner may be sent a tax form 1099, or other appropriate tax document, in the event the approximate retail value requires Sponsor to submit such form. All federal, state and local taxes, and any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance or use of the prize not specifically provided for in these Official Rules are solely the winner's responsibility.
Unless otherwise prohibited by law, by participating in this Sweepstakes and/or accepting a prize, entrant grants Sponsor and its designees the right to use entrant’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and city and state address for advertising and promotional purposes for this and similar promotions, worldwide, and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised without additional compensation, review or approval rights, notification or permission, except where prohibited by law.
ENTRANT FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT ENTRANT’S PERSONAL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION MAY BE DISCLOSED TO THIRD PARTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, PLACING ENTRANT’S NAME ON A WINNERS’ LIST.
In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Sweepstakes is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problem, or in the event the Sweepstakes is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules or (b) terminate the Sweepstakes and, in the event of termination and in Sponsor’s sole discretion, award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the Site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorneys’ fees) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and each of its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the Sweepstakes, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto), including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors associated with the Sweepstakes, including lost, interrupted or unavailable Internet Service Provider (ISP), network, server, wireless service provider, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone, cellular tower or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (c) mechanical, network, electronic, computer, human, printing or typographical errors; (d) application downloads, (e) any other errors or problems in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in the advertising of the Sweepstakes, including Sweepstakes-related materials, the administration of the Sweepstakes, the announcement of the winner, the completing and/or processing of entries; or (f) injury, death, losses or damages of any kind, to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrants participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, receipt or misuse of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto). Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the entrant be entitled to receive attorney’s fees.
