Ever since HP acquired Teradici, we’ve been working together to create one new, world-class solution. on the same technology that won both Teradici and HP Engineering Emmys in 2020, HP Anyware provides deployment flexibility for any kind of organization and will help you manage ever-evolving infrastructure, network, and hybrid workforce demands. This first release (22.07) includes some new collaboration features, and we’ll continue to add more from ZCentral Remote Boost and ZCentral Connect, as well as other new features with each quarterly release.

“HP Anyware gives CIOs the flexibility to extend secure access to digital workspaces, anywhere their workforce wants to be, with a superb user experience that feels just like they’re in the office,” said Ziad Lammam, Global Head of Teradici Product Management, HP. “IT teams can future proof their infrastructure today with new capabilities, such as high-performance workforce collaboration and access to macOS environments from the hybrid cloud, with more key features coming soon, including enhanced security with zero trust architectures.”

Solving Today’s IT Challenges and Future Proofing for Tomorrow

The workplace has fundamentally changed, and we recognize that IT needs a better way to enable secure access to digital workspaces, anywhere.

The pandemic exposed significant frustrations with firewalls and VPNs no longer cutting it in a hybrid world. Our recent Security Report found that companies are shifting to a zero trust philosophy more rapidly as a result.

At the same time, cloud and edge technologies are gaining share in the IT infrastructure mix for flexibility, ease-of-deployment and reduced upfront capital expenditures. Desktop-as-a-Service models, for example, can simplify onboarding of contractors and quickly give them secure access to a desktop wherever they are.

People’s preferences and lifestyles have also changed. Employees and contractors are no longer bound to the office Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, and they want more freedom to use personal devices to get work done. IT is left to support a workforce that is 100% remote, 100% in the office, and a split of remote and office time. IT is also tasked with managing the needs of offices that are simultaneously evolving from dedicated desks and seating plans to floating desks/hoteling, and enabling effective collaboration spaces for teams in a world where physical meeting rooms are no longer the only place to meet.

With all these changes, it might feel impossible or at least very challenging to manage an IT infrastructure that can make all of this work, but HP Anyware has you covered.

Anyware Features for Every Workspace

HP Anyware is designed to keep desktops and apps securely accessible within your ever-evolving infrastructure, anywhere your data is stored and with any mix of infrastructure – cloud, data center, edge, or workstation. Replacing slow and outdated VPN file transfers, HP Anyware leverages the PCoIP® protocol to stream highly interactive desktop displays between hosts and end-user devices, pixel by pixel, so corporate assets can remain securely located in industry-compliant, on-site storage or any public cloud.

Future-proof your infrastructure today, with even more key feature enhancements to come with every release. Learn more.

HP Anyware delivers the ultimate user experience for hybrid workflows to keep people and teams productive from anywhere. It provides seamless access to desktops and apps, anywhere a person decides to work and from virtually any device they want to work on.

For Any Kind of User, Anywhere

We really mean any. HP Anyware is designed for any host environment, any OS, any endpoint—you can even use it as a service via AWS—we’re committed to making digital workspaces securely accessible for any kind of user, anywhere.

That level of commitment can only come with strong partnerships. From cloud partners, to ISVs, to peripherals, we think our ecosystem is second to none. Just in the past few months, we’ve announced a jointly developed, curated solution available from Microsoft for game developers that includes Epic Games Unreal Engine, we’re enabling remote access to workflows on Verizon 5G Edge, and we launched a predefined image on AWS Marketplace that provides Epic Games’ “Game Launcher and Unreal Engine 4” preinstalled. And there are many more developments to come!

Availability

General availability of HP Anyware is expected in summer 2022. If you’re a current Teradici CAS subscriber, all you need to do is update your PCoIP clients and agents to start using HP Anyware, as with any quarterly software release.
