AWS re:Invent 2018 will take place next week Nov 26-30, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show presents an opportunity for participants to attend sessions, chalk talks, workshops, builder sessions, and hackathons that cover AWS core topics and embrace emerging AWS technologies.
Attendees can also check out exhibitor booths. We will be present in the LG booth this year showcasing our leading remoting solution, Cloud Access Software.

It was a rare treat to have the SIGGRAPH conference take place in our own backyard here in Vancouver and experience locally, the celebration of all-things CG, animation, virtual reality, games, and much, much more. SIGGRAPH started up in 1973 as a result of growing interest in the graphics discipline and has since evolved into a globally recognized event that attracted 16K+ attendees this past August.

M&E Day: Demo Highlights

Two jam-packed sessions were recently held at a local studio in Vancouver, BC, exploring virtual workstations for VFX and graphics-intensive workloads using Amazon Web Services (AWS). This was a jointly-hosted workshop between the Thinkbox team at AWS, Teradici, and Sohonet and was solely dedicated to IT decision makers in M&E.
