Last week was full of excitement for Mac developers. In addition to Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), MacDevOpsYVR gathered together Mac admins, DevOps engineers, and security experts from industry-leading organizations for three days of online learning and networking. MacStadium has been supporting MacDevOpsYVR for many years, and we were excited to join Teradici as proud sponsors of this year’s conference.

In addition to attending all of the great MacDevOpsYVR sessions, ranging from security to MDM to cloud storage, the MacStadium team was excited to have the opportunity to share details about how we’re working with Teradici to enable high-performance remote access for the Mac.

During his MacDevOpsYVR presentation, MacStadium’s CTO, Chris Chapman, revealed:

“Together, we’re building new solutions that will improve the ability to leverage Mac in the cloud. First, launching in July will be our Cloud Access solution, powered by Teradici. They provide a PCoIP® cloud access client that is a highly secure, highly performant connector to give you access to a remote Mac.. Later in the year, as we deepen our partnership with Teradici, we're integrating their CAS Manager technology directly into MacStadium’s cloud workspace, which will provide bare metal and virtualized, cloud-integrated, Mac desktops into a full-blown VDI solution with SSO, connectivity, and scalability. We’re anticipating that product launch at the end of 2021.”

For nearly a decade, MacStadium has been solely focused on providing our customers with Mac-centric cloud solutions built on Apple hardware in data centers in the US and Europe. By joining forces with Teradici, we will be able to provide access to MacStadium’s secure, reliable, and scalable Apple infrastructure to Mac users as if they were on a local machine.
