Collaboration—working together to complete a task or achieve a goal—is something we do all the time. It seems simple, but when people are working on high-performance workflows from different locations, it can be a real challenge.

Whether it’s adjusting a design in real-time with a client or vendor, collaborating with a contractor on animations or AutoCAD projects, or reviewing and editing video on the fly, there are countless applications where the task would be so much easier if a contributor could just join your remote desktop session and provide input.

That’s why were adding collaboration capabilities to Teradici CAS, enabling users to invite a guest into their PCoIP session. With CAS, users can securely access their high-performance workstations and applications as if they were on a local machine, from anywhere, on any operating systemWe’re rolling out collaboration starting with Teradici Graphics Agent for macOS, with more options coming soon.

With the collaboration feature, two users can simultaneously access a single remote desktop session for reviewing, allowing colleagues to work together more effectively, regardless of whether people are at home, in the office or on the road. There are no limits to where the creative process can happen.

Collaboration reduces friction of remote work and saves time throughout the workflow. For example, in the creative space, directors and producers can participate directly in a project from rough cut to final review, without having to be onsite, and without having to compromise on quality, performance or security. Using Teradici CAS and the PCoIP remote display protocol to transfer only pixels, corporate assets remain securely located in industry-compliant, on-site content networks or any public cloud.
