Thin client adoption is rising, driven by organizations seeking the benefits of virtualized desktop infrastructure - including streamlined desktop management, improved security and enablement of remote staff - with endpoint options to support a range of use cases.

What Customers Are Saying

What we’re hearing from customers is that they are looking for flexible endpoint solutions that can meet their connectivity, form factor and mobility needs. And they need their users to be able to seamlessly fit into their overall ecosystem, whether they’re using on-premises, hybrid, or public cloud hosted desktops while working seamlessly with other users on zero clients or other devices.

Enter PCoIP® Client Software...

Thin clients enabled with PCoIP Client Software offer expanded flexibility to connect to Cloud Access Software hosted in any private data center or public cloud.  With this update, users can connect to virtual desktops or workstations hosted on AWS (including Amazon WorkSpaces), Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure or a wide range of on-premises environments and all with the performance of the PCoIP protocol. You may have seen recent announcements we’ve made with ClearCube, IGEL and Stratodesk about connecting their thin client products to Teradici Cloud Access Software.

Dell has also been working to improve the integration and ease with which Cloud Access Software can be used with its Dell Wyse ThinOS Client. A recent (and welcome) change has been rolled out that we wanted to bring to your attention - ThinOS now officially supports direct connections to Cloud Access Software, adding it to the dropdown selections within the Remote Connections setup menu. In addition, customers connecting to Amazon Workspaces no longer require the installation of a separate Connection Manager component, as the capability is now built-in.

Dell recently published a blog article that provided more details about how simple it is to set up Dell Wyse ThinOS to enable PCoIP connections.
