Teradici and NVIDIA GTC Event Highlights

May 12, 2021
Teradici

Teradici is the creator of the PCoIP remoting protocol technology and Cloud Access Software, the leading solution for a cloud-ready future. The company, founded in 2004, is focused on its core mission of seamless delivery of workstations and applications for end-users.

GTC promised enterprise insights and technical talks on the latest in AI, data center, accelerated computing, healthcare, intelligent networking, and game development - it’s easy to say the event delivered!  There are more than 1600 sessions available on NVIDIA On-Demand.

Broadcast from home and a colorfully equipped kitchen, Jensen Huang delivered an impressive GTC Keynote presentation once again this year.  The keynote includes a segment that showcases BMW Group's factory of the future – a demonstration designed, simulated, and operated entirely in NVIDIA Omniverse.  Omniverse allows simultaneous collaboration across multiple users to accelerate design visualization workflows. With many of those users now working remotely, they can leverage Teradici CAS to securely connect to their workstation with the performance they need and in fact, Teradici CAS was used in the creation of this factory floor digital twin demonstration!

In this demo, Teradici CAS is used to remotely connect two designers to the same interactive environment in Omniverse. The specialists are able to see each other’s work and interact in real time, despite their different geographic locations and different applications.  That’s the magic of NVIDIA Omniverse and Teradici CAS!  Watch the full video now.

In addition to the keynote demonstration, you can catch three sessions by Teradici, detailed below. In each, Teradici and partners demonstrate joint technology demonstrations that give the audience a hands-on-feel and plenty of technical depth.

SS32976 Accelerating the workflows of remote creators, designers and engineers

Learn how NVIDIA and Teradici enable teams to collaborate from anywhere with interactive, graphics-intensive applications like CAD, where users demand photo-realism, crystal clear wire-framing, and seamless interactivity. We’ll introduce you to the NVIDIA Omniverse™ platform and Omniverse View, a purpose-built application designed specifically to accelerate and visualize AEC workflows and show you how Teradici Cloud Access Software leverages PCoIP Ultra™ technology to securely deliver the remote workstation experience without compromise.

SS33009 Teradici Auto-Offload leverages NVIDIA NVENC technology for the best workstation

experience

Teradici released important updates to CAS to help optimize remote desktop performance and image fidelity when working with graphics-intensive content from home networks with bandwidth or latency constraints. Learn about PCoIP Ultra Auto-Offload and the impact on demanding users interacting with high fidelity text, raw video, wireframes and exacting colors - vital for complex CAD wireframes or visual effects artworks.

S31650 Next Gen Game Development and Collaboration in the Cloud

In this session AWS and Teradici demonstrate the deployment platform for content creation in a remote game studio environment. Amazon EC2 instances, NVIDIA GPU-powered workstations and Teradici Cloud Access Software demonstrate a powerful solution that helps artists and developers meet deadlines faster, improve efficiency, and maintain the highest level of security of creative assets.
